Fallen Leaves

Fallen Leaves

As in life, time is short. It is only a matter of hours before the extraordinarily vibrant colours vanish. Hence the importance of sketchbooks.

Drawing Meditation

Drawing Meditation

The humble pencil is one of my all time favorite mediums to create with. It is incredibly versatile, cheap and easy to use. I absolutely love the sensation of drawing on paper, caressing the surface with each sweep across the page, then pressing hard into...

About Jenny

Jenny Gilbertson is an artist from Australia, who creates in many different media and art forms, but mostly visual arts. Jenny has worked in community arts for many years, teaching, initiating, facilitating and managing a diverse range of projects. After nearly 20 years living the dream of (almost) self sufficiency (and developing a love of chickens in the process!) Jenny has moved closer to ‘civilisation.’ Having spent most of her life on the eastern side of the country, she is trying out life on the west coast of Australia for a change. Sharing beauty, stories, food and laughter are the things that bring joy to her life. You can check out some of Jenny’s creative activities at her website at or here at Instagram or here at LinkedIn.

Welcome to The Art of Everyone

In writing my book Everything Else, I realised everybody has their own “everything else”—the thoughts and stories, the experiences, the skills, the imagination, the dreams.

Left unexplored or unshared, they can leave a void, depriving our spirit of something beautiful and nourishing. Having learned that, I created the space here to manifest my own "everything else," and to help others share theirs.

The path here is lined with flowers, the walls are endless, the shelves inviting, the table is set, and there is room for adventure. Bring your own creations or just open your soul for a retreat. This is a space to breathe. Leave the conventional world behind and enjoy.

Thank you for being here.
