Art by Jane Bristowe

by

We have chosen four of artist Jane Bristowe’s artworks which associate Amusement with Rhythm.

Known for her animal linocuts, here she brings music and dance with her Matisse-inspired “Dancers” linocut and her “‘Tree of Music” screen print and shares the pulse of the London’s playgrounds with her “London Eye” screen print and “See-saw” linocut.

In her Artist statement Jane mentions “I like my lines to be playful. Colour comes later.”

Playful is just what we need!
